Nosy Hara Marine Park – it’s awesome

The Nosy Hara archipelago has been  identified one of the most critically important sites for biodiversity conservation in Madagascar, and the wider western Indian Ocean. Nosy Hara Marine Park  was inaugurated in 2004 and constitutes critical coral reef habitat and offshore islands which provide a haven for endangered marine species including dugongs, dolphins, sharks, whales and sea turtles and coral reef, mangrove and seagrass systems.
