Conservation Ambassadors

Conservation Ambassadors are local men, women and youths from Kia Island who are committed working with us to raise awareness about local conservation issues, inspiring change in the community through environmental education and ensuring the future of their natural resources for the future. Surrounded by and reliant upon the Great Sea Reef, Conservation Ambassadors focus on the protection four endangered flagship species: the humphead wrasse, green turtle, spinner dolphin and reef shark.
